What Running taught me about leadership and Mindset
Running is a sport or activity that pushes you to the brink of your mental and physical limits. You will at times get to a point where you regret starting on the journey. But this is where resilience and discipline come in. Each step you take as the voice in your head is telling you to stop becomes a step for a stronger you, both physically and mentally.

I am reminded of the first half marathon that I ran. I got to mile twelve and since a half is thirteen point one I had another mile to go. I turned the corner and could not see the finish line but I told myself just keep moving. It kept me going when my tank was literally and figuratively empty. It was the longest mile in my life but I made it.
There will be times in your life when you will face uncertainty and the finish line seems out of reach. Keep the vision of why you started the journey in your mind and it will get you to the end.
Resilience is not always about having it all put together or know all the details. It is a skill that everyone can acquire and strengthen. Developing resilience can enable you to have the faith and determination to see whatever you have started to the end.
We are not all runners but we all have goals. How determined are you to reach a little farther and higher for something that can possibility change your life. Here is something to consider, you are one decision from a whole new life.
For leaders it is important that you keep the vision in view at all times, especially when times get tough. There are going to be times when it gets tough and you are the only one that believes in the vision and have the will to see it through. Each action you take towards the goal is an act of victory that will silence the voices both internally and externally and make you stronger. #stronger
